Reborn: Best Practices
These resources use the video and discussion series "Reborn" to guide parents and godparents through Baptism preparation.
Meeting Formats:
- One-Session Parent Meeting (2 hours): Utilize all three sessions of "Reborn", incorporating group discussions between each session.
- Two-Session Parent Meeting (2 x 90 minutes):
- Session 1 & 2 in the first meeting followed by Q&A.
- Session 3 & Bonus Session in the second meeting.
- Three-Session Parent Meeting (3 x 60 minutes): Dedicate each session to a single "Reborn" video and discussion.
- Reverse Classroom:
- Parents watch Session 1 at home and answer study guide questions.
- They come to the meeting prepared for discussion.
- Large-Group/Parish-Wide Study:
- Offer "Reborn" as a parish-wide session with video viewing and small group discussions.
