Dr. Ben Akers, Associate Professor of Theology and Chief Mission Officer of the Augustine Institute, will discuss how the seventh and eighth grade Word of Life curriculum helps reveal our youth’s identity in Christ and cultivate lifelong discipleship, as well as how to:
- Connect the longings in our kids’ hearts to the universal call of Holiness
- Foster a love for Sacred Scripture, and practice Lectio Divina with adolescents
- Explore the lives of great men and women throughout Church history who have boldly responded to the proclamation of the Gospel and how they can answer that call
- Provide witness to both parents and students on how they can have “abundant life” through a relationship with Jesus. - John 10:10
